The lead actress, the financial backer and several others are bursting at the prospect of a tremendous success with the experimental play of an unknown writer. Gathered in a luxury hotel suite, the parties display their destructive temperament as they turn on each other when it appears that the play is a flop. Although the tables turn when glowing reviews are received, the writer, who is disgusted with the behavior of his associates, must be lured back to the theater from his inevitable return to a simple life of truck driving.
