POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Winter 2008 Courses:
Most classes begin the week of April 7 and meet for the last time during the week of June 9. Please see the course descriptions for specific start, end, and “no-class” dates.
To reserve space in a course and assure receipt of course materials, we must have your completed registration form and full payment at or before the first class meeting. Course payments may be made by check or in cash. Credit cards are not accepted.
Course Policies:
Drop before the first class meeting – full refund (less $20 administration fee). Drop between first and second class meeting – 80% refund. Drop during or after second class meeting – no refund.
We do not pro-rate course fees for students (a) joining a class after the session begins, (b) leaving a class before the session ends, or (c) taking planned absences.
We do not offer sibling discounts. We may ask that families with two or more children enrolled in a single course take only one set of materials. Due to space limitations and insurance considerations, only children enrolled in a class will be permitted to attend. Caretakers are expected to attend infant and toddler classes.
NEMPAC reserves the right to cancel any course due to insufficient enrollments and to refuse or suspend enrollment.
For weather-related cancellations, NEMPAC follows the Boston Public Schools. In the event of cancellation due to weather or other circumstances, NEMPAC makes every effort to schedule make-up classes. Refunds will be issued at NEMPAC’s discretion.
Private Music Instruction policies:
Policies concerning participation in NEMPAC’s year-round private music instruction program are available on request
(617-227-2270 or info@nempac.org).
